At British Royal School, students enjoy a high-quality international education in a warm, safe and stimulating community. They follow a rigorous academic pathway while they grow personally, developing their creativity, confidence and international mindset.
With innovative programmes, specialist teachers and a dynamic, hands-on methodology, students explore their interests, discover their potential and get ready for a successful future in a global world.
With a stone and a pencil, a dream began: to build a school with a deep social purpose. In January 1986, British Royal School opened in Las Condes with strong academics and a modern vision of education.
On 30 June 1987, the Ministry of Education granted the school official recognition through Exempt Resolution No. 1649, authorising pre-primary, primary and secondary levels. That year, the school moved to La Reina due to rising enrolment.
Steady growth in enrolment led the school in 1990 to move to its current campus on Av. Las Perdices, where it strengthened its identity and community, which today brings together more than 1,300 students.
In memory of Carolina Labra Riquelme, daughter of founder Miss Sylvia Riquelme, the Carolina Labra Educational Foundation supports children and young people in hospital or in treatment, becoming a national and international reference.
With the aim of offering modern learning spaces, in 2015 a dedicated recreational and sports area was built for the youngest students, together with new Science, Physics and English laboratories equipped with cutting-edge technology.
By joining the International Schools Partnership – ISP, we connect our students to a global network, broadening their educational horizons and immersing them in diverse cultures and ideas.
Today, British Royal School continues on its path of growth and continuous improvement, strengthening its educational offer through pedagogical innovation, teacher training and the commitment of its entire school community, with the aim of developing well-rounded, critical thinkers who are ready for the challenges of the future.

For 16 years I have been incredibly fortunate to be part of this educational community, which for me has been much more than just a workplace: it has truly been a second home. Here I have experienced unforgettable moments, I have learned, I have grown and, above all, I have shared experiences that have had a profound impact on me, both professionally and personally.
Pia Perez, Physical Education Teacher and Academic Coordinator for the Department
For 16 years I have been incredibly fortunate to be part of this educational community, which for me has been much more than just a workplace: it has truly been a second home. Here I have experienced unforgettable moments, I have learned, I have grown and, above all, I have shared experiences that have marked me deeply, both professionally and personally. Sport has been both my tool and my passion in supporting so many children and young people along their journey. Through sport, I have sought to pass on values that I consider essential: effort, discipline, respect and teamwork. Seeing those values flourish in each of them is, without doubt, one of the greatest rewards this profession has given me. Every group, every student and every stage has left its mark on me, something for which I am deeply grateful and which inspires me to keep giving the very best of myself.
