In Middle School, students aged 10 to 14 strengthen their English every day and grow the skills they need to succeed in Cambridge examinations, while pursuing the Chilean curriculum. They also build age-appropriate social and emotional tools that reflect the needs of early adolescence. With thoughtful guidance and a focus on wellbeing, students step into a more independent and responsible stage.
Step up to advanced disciplines in the British framework, strengthening reasoning, argumentation and practical application while Chile’s National Curriculum prepares for Senior School and future exams.
Strengthen personal autonomy, responsibility and time management during a key stage of identity, motivation and maturity.
Excel in English, building fluency, academic vocabulary and intercultural competence and preparing for Cambridge exams.
Learn in modern laboratories, advanced libraries, creative spaces and innovation areas, gaining practical experiences that strengthen academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
Broaden horizons through ISP global programmes such as MUN and Summer Schools, building leadership and critical thinking while visiting the UK or USA.
Lead confidently in student councils and debates, taking on representation roles and ISP projects that build strong skills.
Join the school through a transparent process focused on each learner, ensuring a positive transition and a strong start in the middle years.
Students grow with bilingual teachers, strong wellbeing support and active family partnerships that keep learning engaging every day.
Students develop logical and abstract thinking through the study of numbers, shapes and patterns. They learn to analyse situations, model real-life problems and apply mathematical strategies across different disciplines and in everyday decision-making.
This subject develops effective communication, reading and writing in Spanish. Students build strong reading comprehension and learn to express their ideas clearly and creatively, working with a range of literary and informational texts that enrich their vocabulary, critical thinking and appreciation of language and culture.
Students develop oral and written communication in English as a second language, building confidence in real-life situations. The course aims to develop solid language skills for a globalised world, supporting academic study and international interaction.
Students explore the natural world through observation, experimentation and the scientific method. The programme includes biology, chemistry, physics and earth sciences, helping students understand how scientific principles explain everyday phenomena and global challenges.
Students investigate how societies grow and change over time. They compare cultures, map places and analyse social structures. They link past events to current issues and step into the role of active, responsible citizens.
Students talk openly about their emotions, strengths and challenges. They set personal and academic goals and design clear steps towards them. They practise strategies for well-being and resilience and build positive relationships with peers and adults. They explore study paths and future careers that align with their interests and aspirations.
Students listen to, create and perform music, experimenting with rhythm, melody and harmony. They sing, play instruments and work in ensembles, strengthening their creativity, discipline and confidence on stage and in the classroom.
Students move, play and train through a wide range of sports and physical activities. They develop strength, coordination and teamwork while exploring healthy lifestyle choices. They set personal goals, challenge themselves and value both their physical and mental well-being.
Students explore visual arts through drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media. They experiment with colour, form and texture, turning ideas and emotions into visual stories. They analyse artworks from different cultures and periods, build their own artistic style and grow in confidence as creative, expressive individuals.
Students navigate the digital world safely and creatively. They use digital tools, code simple programmes and tackle real problems with technology. They design projects, think critically about online information and build responsible habits as active digital citizens.
Students examine real-life dilemmas and explore different value systems. They debate, listen and challenge assumptions with respect. They reflect on their choices, recognise their impact on others and shape a personal sense of responsibility and integrity.

It is an honour to share my experience as a former student of British Royal School, and to speak about the educational excellence and the profound values that have left a lasting mark on me. The well-rounded education that my classmates and I received throughout our time at the school has been truly remarkable. Although my time at the school was not very long, I am certain that it was an extremely enriching experience. The deep commitment of the teaching staff has left an indelible mark on me. I would like to reiterate my gratitude and extend my best wishes for BRS to continue its valuable work.
