Infant School (Tiny and Play Group)

Applicants take part in a “Play Day”, a play-based session with free and guided activities, both individual and in small groups. Whether held in a larger group or in a more personalised setting, this experience allows us to observe each child’s abilities in a natural, enjoyable environment.

Pre-Kínder and Kínder

We assess key developmental skills, including:

  • Independence and autonomy
  • Social and emotional development
  • Language (expressive and receptive)
  • Thinking skills

The process is diagnostic, and we observe aspects such as:

  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Attention and concentration
  • Relationships with peers and adults
  • Adaptation to new environments
  • Expression of needs and emotions
  • Motor development

Primary, Middle and Senior School (1° Básico to IV Medio)

Applicants are assessed in Language, Mathematics and English. The content corresponds to the minimum requirements of the school year prior to the one they are applying for. This provides a clear diagnostic baseline to support their entry to the school.

Admission of international students

We request a provisional enrolment from the Ministry of Education. Required documents include:

  • National or provisional ID card, or birth certificate (or equivalent document)
  • Grade report from the last school year completed

We also offer a specific admissions process for non-Spanish-speaking students, designed to support their smooth integration into school life.

Our admissions policy at British Royal School is designed to be warm, transparent and centred on the holistic wellbeing of each applicant. We prioritise ensuring that every student can benefit from our bilingual educational project, which promotes social-emotional wellbeing, academic development, bilingualism and sport.

Through a process that includes the application, assessments and interviews, we take time to get to know each family. Our goal is for every student to find a welcoming environment at British Royal School, to feel at home and to receive continuous support through our Protected Education Plan (Plan de Educación Protegida).
